The pandemic disrupted everything – and youth work was no exception. Many young people have been struggling with anxiety, isolation, and lack of motivation. Reconnecting Youth brought together youth workers, trainers, and educators ready to face these challenges with compassion and creativity.
During one week in Prague, we explored new strategies for engaging with young people again. A key element was the Kinetic methodology – a framework that uses functional creativity, collaborative intelligence, and new ways of working together.
Participants shared experiences, built support networks, and created concrete strategies to apply what they learned in their local contexts. The program was rooted in experiential learning, empathy, and real-life stories.
Reconnecting Youth wasn’t just about recovery – it was about reconnection. With others, and with ourselves.
